About Jessy

Jessy Glazewski writes books for young readers — most of them a little bit frightening, all of them about kids who turn out braver than they expected.

She has spent ten years in elementary classrooms, currently teaching fifth grade in California. That work shows up in the books, and it shows up in the school visits: the pacing, the standards, and the particular knack for holding four hundred kids in a cafeteria.

She is also a practicing magician, which comes in handy.
